Tamara Maes
Founder of the Company in 2000 and Scientific Director of the Company since its incorporation until 31 January 2021, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Company since its incorporation and First Vice-Chair of the Board, and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of Oryzon since February 2021*. She holds a PhD in biotechnology (genetics) from the University of Ghent (Belgium). She is also sole director of MENDELION LIFESCIENCES, S.L., was a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) from 20 January 2009 to 22 January 2013, has been a member of the Scientific Review Board of the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) since 2016 and has been collaborating in the mentoring programme for new entrepreneurs "CaixaImpulse" since 1 September 2015.
